Serendipitous Collage

Hi. I was meeting with my therapist today. We were discussing how the initial diagnosis of cancer was a pivot point in my life. I started learning more about myself and also started working on my self-worth. I started doing things for me and not just doing things as a conditioned response. As a wife and a mom, I think it’s easy to get into a rountine, such as cooking 4-5 nights a week because it’s expected. Or, to handle all of the kids activities and problems. We, as women are conditioned to do this. Or, at least I was. I have come so far. During this initial pivot point I discovered art. I really grew personally in the past year from February 2024 to now, March 2025. My second cancer diagnosis, I have really found my voice both literally–not so conditioned anymore😃 and figuratively with my art. I started this website and built it from the ground up. The website and my art is something completely all my own. I am so proud of myself.

Collage Makers Summit 2025

I joined a class that is called the Collage Makers Summit. Every day for 2 weeks, there will be a new lesson and techniques used. Here is an example of the “pre-lesson” from last week.

To see more go to my gallery, Collage Makers Summit 2025. I will be adding more images as I complete the class. Until then, I’ve got to get working on the next lesson….
