I had so much fun making this collage. I had seen someone do a series of “whimsical women,” and I liked that idea. I don’t think I’m quite done with this collage. I can’t think of what I’m missing. Maybe nothing.
Here are a few pictures showing the process for this collage. First, I painted the background with acrylic paint, using a wet-on-wet technique, meaning I wet the paper with water and then painted over it, making it look more like watercolor. Then I spent some time finding my “ladies” and their bodies and started to put them in place. Finally, I glued them down with a glue stick.
I do think it could use a little something more, but I don’t want it distracting from the collage. What do you think? Angie
