I’ve really been enjoying making art lately. I joined a free class to learn different collage techniques, and it’s been fun experimenting again. I’ve also been using watercolors and have been able to bring in some of the techniques I learned through the Northside Cancer Community class, which has felt really good.
On 4/18/2026, I marked the 4th anniversary of my first transplant. I’m also about a month away from being one year post my allogeneic transplant, which feels hard to believe.
Right now, I’m feeling really good and enjoying life. I’m getting ready to go to the beach for the first time in two years, and I can’t wait. I’ve been given the okay from my doctors to spend some time in the sun and in the water, which feels like such a gift. Angie
