This piece came together rather quickly. I am learning a new technique that transfers images to paper. I’m still learning. Even though it didn’t work the way I wanted it to, I love how the flowers turned out.
I think the purple, the red, and the yellow complement each other well.
If I had chosen a word for the year, I think it would be “Present”. Both physically–I’m here a year after transplant, but also present to friends and family. And, most especially, present to myself!
